These huge international corporations are owned by consortiums of nameless investors who hide behind the likes of BlackRock and Vanguard. The responsibility for poisoning the planet is not something that they even think about. The investment portfolios are managed by middle men. Ask any Nob what he invests in and he won't divulge, claiming privacy.... most of them have no idea what their wealth is invested in. What is true about their investments today may be different tomorrow. Slippery fuckers with multiple dirty deeds undertaken by their appointed agents who are also slippery fuckers. They all sleep well at night cos the responsibility can always be passed to a minion who ranks many levels below them in the capitalist hierarchy.
I asked my Dad what he invested in once..... "What does it matter?" he said "As long as the bottom line keeps increasing, we all smile!"
