I believe it all starts changing when we realize that the only people who can get us out of any of the madness going on...is us! We must learn how to start building relationships with one another again. Being supportive of one another. Putting our differences aside the best we can and building the future despite whatever else is going on in the world. It takes time, heart and energy, but it's worth it. Many of the challenges facing our world are made possible because of ignorance. The only way (IMHO) we overcome that ignorance is with relationships first and *then* education. It's not going to be easy, but nothing worth doing ever is. And I am ranting to myself in this as well. We've grown lazy, jaded and aloof. We must start believing in ourselves and our fellow human beings again. And we *can* change things. I feel a new spirit rising around us and tho things are going to be difficult, different and sometimes downright depressing in the days to come, I am very excited about the future.
