I know, I promised you funnies. I’ll do a funnies post later today! ^_^
I’m sharing this excellent read from Courageous Lion, because He. Just. Nails It. This is originally from August, but it needs to be re-posted, because… Read it, you’ll know.

I want to say this...when I write some of what I do, straight from history, my heart and using my god given reason, logic and common sense, and then to find someone actually understanding what I'm writing and the importance of it, that gives me the incentive to keep roaring, to keep scratching to keep pushing forward so that my grandson can grow up in a free country, WHICH I WAS NEVER ALLOWED TO LIVE IN! And it gives me the drive to keep pushing forward and for that I thank each and every one of my subscribers and to you Word Herder for pushing this effort forward. I feel if something like this can become viral, it just may wake up the LIONS and LIONESSES (like you) among us to take back our country from the psychopathic control freaks that have their hands wrapped around it's neck. Woof on! Roar on! SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS. WE ARE THE MILITIA! We need some governor somewhere to grow some or maybe someone like Kristi Noem to take up the mantle and START A CONSTITUTIONAL STATE MILITIA and you can bet your last dollar the Red State Governors will stand up and take notice for:
Referred to in modern times as an individual’s right to carry and use arms for self-defense, the Second Amendment was envisioned by the framers of the Constitution, according to College of William and Mary law professor and future U.S. District Court judge St. George Tucker in 1803 in his great work Blackstone’s Commentaries: With Notes of Reference to the Constitution and Laws of the Federal Government of the United States and of the Commonwealth of Virginia, as the “true palladium of liberty.” In addition to checking federal power, the Second Amendment also provided state governments with what Luther Martin (1744/48–1826) described as the “last coup de grace” that would enable the states “to thwart and oppose the general government.” Last, it enshrined the ancient Florentine and Roman constitutional principle of civil and military virtue by making every citizen a soldier and every soldier a citizen.
