Right, this one, I SWEAR, will be short, cuz I’m frustrated, but also sort of gleeful. (Okay, I lied, it’s not that short.)
Good News: I believe in my writing ability, I do, I do, now, after years of faltering and hiding and “doing it on my own,” and lack of confidence, I believe. What a relief! I am feeling validated. I can’t move on it straight away because I have NO funds. I need a benefactor; if you know anybody with too much money, I will send scones in return.
Bad News: I can’t set up the paid blog option, because… amazingly, stupidly, and ironically, I don’t have a cell phone. Will I get a cell phone for this? Uh, let me think, no. So, I will have to resort to making my Darling Readers do a lot of WORK— go to another site, and send me a few bucks by clicking and typing... It feels like begging, to me; I’m struggling to find a way to make this easier for everyone. And I have all these stories that are chompin’ at the bit to be released! But I can’t release them for FREE, because I have no other means of income! Good ideas are WELCOMED…
Good News: I have one thing pending, which I won’t mention until I hear back, because I’m being superstitious, just this once. Meanwhile, I did get hired on to be a tutor, which, like the blog & writing business, takes time to build up, but could build up rather quickly, depending on Lady Luck, who is waiting in the winks.
Bad News: I am having a very hard time advertising on Farceborg, because the AI hates me there, being a Truther. So out of all my five-and-a-half hundred (million, oh please) friends on that site, I think three or maybe five people see my posts. Thinking about getting a new page with a new name, but… I’d have to figure out how to grow it without saying it’s mine… Seems pointless, almost!
Good News: I’m in a good mood, and therefore I am simply going to TRUST THE UNIVERSE to show me the way, keep me in groceries AND my house, and be able to pay my internet/phone bill which just went up by a THIRD, to nearly $100/month for the slowest, lousiest service they offer. Bought out by an even BIGGER company. And soon I’ll have a Smart Meter installed on my house. Shiver me timbers, maties. Wait, this should be in the Bad News…
Oh, hell, I’m just going to end here, and I’m saying THANK YOU to all y’all and to the Divine, because I’m really doing pretty dang good for the shape I’m in. Thanks, my Lovelies! xo
I too am (newly for me) phoneless land, looking at a 'land line' setup (brand called ooma looks good but is really 4G ) but for now I am email only and zoom...many things need getarounds with no phone, for use...you would think that because of the surveillance factor that so many now are dumping their phones that maybe companies will give more online options for payments....kudos to you and me for losing our tracking beacons..best
Congrats on your new job!
